Owsley new Gillespie school superintendent

The Gillespie District 7 Board of Education voted last week to hire Gillespie High School Principal R. Shane Owsley as the new superintendent.Owsley will take over on July 1 for Joe Tieman, who is retiring. Tieman has been superintendent since 2013 after serving as an assistant superintendent.
