Local gas prices drop below $2 a gallon
The average price of gasoline in the Springfield market as the Fourth of July approaches is 31 cents below this time last year, according to AAA Chicago, including prices below $2 at some stations. Fuel-tracking website Gasbuddy.com reported local prices
